We’ve been eager to share recipes that we really like, and believe you will like too. Some of these recipes are long-time family favourites, some are recipes others have shared with us, and some are from cookbooks and websites we have been discovering.
The recipes on this page are just a small number of ‘highlighted’ recipes we have selected to feature. You will find others in the ‘recipes’ category within our blog. We will be adding many more recipes in our blog now and into the future.

This is a favourite recipe from a Family Circle cookbook, with a few tweaks to make it just right for us. A little less chilli powder and I try to use dried beans that I have soaked and cooked previously. Prepare and cook to your own tastes 🙂 .

The most important thing – how did it taste? Well, my adult son called dibs on the leftovers for lunch the next day; he enjoyed it so much! Dominic and I enjoyed it too!
